AT SIU SINCE 2001

Walter V. Wendler was appointed director of the School of Architecture at Southern Illinois University Carbondale in July 2008. He has been at SIUC since July 1, 2001, serving as chancellor and architecture professor during his tenure. Wendler has presented and published in a variety of forums, served on various university committees and been active in community service.
